Volunteer Opportunities:

•We need: Cookie Bakers (we provide ingredients, to be baked at Safe Harbor.)

•Casserole Makers (same as Cookie Bakers.)

•Cook on Thursday Nights (4:00 to 7:00)

•On-Call Baby Rockers (Thursday from 9:30 to 2:00)

•On-Call Heavy Lifters

•April 30th, need volunteers to form a human chain across the Blue Bridge. The event will take place in the late afternoon so children can participate.

•Community Garden Coordinator. We have about 3/4 of an acre. Responsibilities would be ground prep, rototilling, and water acquisition and planting.

Our Babies Can't Wait

Our Babies Can’t Wait needs 3 volunteers, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 to 6:30 or 7:00, to help cook, serve, and clean up dinners for parent meetings and to help take care of infants.

Habitat for Humanity--Volunteers Needed

Construction:

We Need construction (skilled and unskilled) volunteers on-site Mondays, Wednesdays,

Fridays, and Saturdays, 8am-4pm year-round. You must be at least 16 years old for general

construction but we welcome all ages!

Office/Store Support: Office volunteers answer phones, translate for our Spanish-speaking families and assist staff with special projects.

Do you like to cook? Habitat for Humanity has volunteers every day and needs individuals or organizations to furnish lunch for volunteers on the job.

Edith Bishel Center--Volunteers Needed

The Edith Bishel Center has a short-term need for a web page assistant, an

ongoing need for a grant writer, and individuals to prepare frozen cookie dough at home.
